January Meeting and 2010

Hello all, exciting news for the 2nd Tuesday Constitution Group. All meeting for the year 2010 will be at the Holiday Inn at Tanglewood. The meeting time will still be 6:30 pm and we will continue to have speakers there to address the group and discuss constitutional and current issues impacting all of us. We thank the Roanoke County Library for hosting us for the last half of 2009, but to avoid scheduling conflicts we are moving. Check back soon for an update specific to the January meeting and we look forward to seeing you on Jan. 12th.

December Meeting

Thank you to our speakers who addressed our November 10th meeting. Our next regular meeting will be at Mama Maria's on Main St. in Salem at 6:30 p.m. It will be an informal/open forum meeting with no specific guest scheduled. If you have a brief message or topic for the group then this will be the meeting to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thank You

We want to thank our guests from the October 13th meeting, Will Smith, Jim Capo, and Bill Carrico. We truly appreciate your time. We had a great turn out and enjoyed the presentations. We have CD and DVD copies of this meeting if anyone who could not make it is interested.

Just another reminder about the October 13th meeting. We have three excellent speakers lined up to discuss constitutional issues.

Will Smith, Constitution Party Chairman-speaking on states rights and the 10th amendment
Jim Capo, John Birch Society-speaking on current events and constitutionality

Our November meeting will return to the Roanoke County library, 3131 Electric Rd.

Special Meeting

For our October 13th meeting we will be moving it to the Holiday Inn at Tanglewood in the conference room. We will have three important speakers lined up to discuss Constitutional issues and share their opinions, two are now confirmed.

Bill Carrico, Virginia House of Delegates in the 5th district.

Will Smith, candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates in the 19th District.

Third guest is yet to be announced.

This will be a big and informative meeting. Makes plans to attend and bring a friend. The meeting time will be 6:30 p.m. just like usual.

September 8th Meeting

Our September meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Roanoke County Library at 3131 Electric Rd. The directions are included in the post from last month if anyone needs them. We have some good guests and exciting things happening so make plans to attend!

Roanoke Gun Show

The 2nd Tuesday Constitution Group will be at the Roanoke Gun Show on August 22nd and 23rd. We will be giving away dvds and fliers and well as selling some books and shirts. We look forward to seeing you there.
